About the Artist

Who am I?
After many transient years as a forces child living across Asia and Europe, I absorbed a rich tapestry of cultures that shaped my perspective and deepened my appreciation for the world around me. These early experiences instilled in me a unique way of seeing – one that continues to inform my work.

For three decades, I lived and worked in East London, where the pace of life eventually led me to seek refuge in my garden – a personal sanctuary that reconnected me with nature. This deep bond with the natural world now pulses through my art, offering viewers an evocative glimpse into my relationship with the landscape.

Now based in North Norfolk, I draw constant inspiration from the sweeping skies, dramatic seascapes, and serene countryside around Mundesley – as well as from the beauty and tranquillity of my own garden. My work is a vibrant celebration of nature and life, infused with colour, energy, and movement.

I embrace experimentation, working across a variety of media and evolving techniques to create a broad and diverse portfolio. My paintings span landscapes, still life, and nature studies, expressed through a few distinct yet complementary styles. Each piece reflects the joy and vibrancy of a life enriched by experience, curiosity, and a deep connection to the world around me.
